Start by using the notches at the base to measure the cross section—your O-Ring should fit snugly without being loose. Once the cross section is confirmed, slide the O-Ring down onto the cone and let it settle naturally. The O-Ring should lie flat, without stretching or slack. With permanently molded Dash Numbers and precision-engineered slits, this tool ensures accurate and reliable sizing for quick replacements—eliminating guesswork every time.
O-Ring Measuring Tape (P/N: OST-26)
Daemar’s OST-26 O-Ring Measuring Tape is a quick, reliable tool for identifying O-Ring sizes with precision. Designed for both AS568 and metric standards, this flexible tape measures inside diameters from 2-1/2” to 26”, making O-Ring ID sizing fast and easy.
1. Identify the cross-section of the O-Ring using the tape’s printed legend.
2. Coil tape inside the O-ring with arrows facing outwards ensuring a snug fit.
3. Unwind the tape within the O-Ring’s ID. The size will appear beneath the relevant cross-section arrow.

2. Then, stretch the ring over the pins until it’s straight — your size will appear in the window.
3. For larger diameter O-rings, use the notch on the far side; the size will display in the second window.

Easily identify AS568 O-Ring sizes with Daemar’s O-Ring Chart, designed to measure standard sizes with speed and accuracy.
Place the O-ring over the silhouettes and the corresponding page to the cross-section and move over and over the various sizes until the correct size is found.
