Improve Efficiency & Reduce Wear with Dryslide Bushings

Bushings are similar to thin cylindrical tubes that are widely used for equipment with rotating or sliding shafts to boost efficiency and minimize friction, vibration and noise while equipment is running, thus, limiting the wear on the components. They are highly used in the automobile industry, drilling operations, hydraulic external gear pumps and motors.

Bushings are made from a wide range of materials in order to support the requirements of different types of applications. As machine parts continuously rotate, it generates friction which lowers the performance of machinery. Daemar’s range of Dryslide Bushing offers self-lubrication properties with low-cost maintenance, which helps in reducing downtime, increasing productivity, and saving costs.

Styles

  1. TH Bushings: TH Series bushings have a composite structure consisting of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze and a PTFE-based sliding lining. Available in inch and metric sizes.
  2. THX Bushings: The THX Series bushings have a composite structure consisting of a carbon steel backing onto which a porous layer of bronze is sintered and then impregnated with a co-acetal plastic. The polymeric surface has indentations in which the lubricating grease lies and protects the mating surface. Available in inch sizes.
  3. FTH Bushings: FTH Series bushing is a flanged style dryslide bushing. The FTH is a composite structure consisting of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze and a PTFE-based sliding lining. Available in inch and metric sizes.
  4. TS Flat Strips: TS Flat strips series has a composite structure consisting of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze and a PTFE-based sliding lining.  Available in inch and metric sizes.
  5. TW Flat Washers: TW Series has a composite structure consisting of a carbon steel backing, an intermediate layer of sintered bronze and a PTFE-based sliding lining. Available in inch and metric sizes.
  6. Fiber-Lube Bushings CJ/FCJ Series: Composite bushings are ideal for non-lubricated, high-load applications in a variety of climates and operating environments. Available with thick walls for drop-in replacements of steel and bronze bushings.
