Masking Caps
Daemar offers a complete line of masking caps for the finishing industry. Our standard product line of masking caps are available in a range of materials that include: Silicone, EPDM, Paper, and High Temperature Vinyl.
SC-SH SERIES
Ultrabake™ Caps are designed to mask plain and threaded studs, tube ends and even slotted holes.
SRC-SH SERIES
Ultrabake™ Grounding Caps are designed to mask rectangular tabs; they are effective at masking rectangular grounding or earthing tabs on sheet metal.
WC-SH SERIES
Ultrabake™ Washer Caps are designed to mask plain or threaded holes and studs; they will mask off the hole or stud .
ZC-SH SERIES
Zerk Caps are designed specifically to mask Zerk fittings; they will mask off the fitting and allow finishing up to it.
VC SERIES
Series VC Soft Caplugs are extremely flexible and durable protective closures which are ideal for use as thread protectors, dust and moisture seals, pipe and stud.
HCR Series These sleeves were developed to mask and protect copper tubing during high-temperature masking processes. These caps were designed with exterior ribs to aid in removal and installation
HEZ Series
Series HEZ caps feature an extra long tab centered at the top of the closure which allows the cap to be finger-removed easily, eliminating the use of tools which could damage threads or part surfaces.
HFC Series
Series HFC caps feature a long flat tab centered at the top of the closure which allows easy removal of the cap. HFC Series caps are ideal for masking applications during painting, plating and powder coating operations.
HJS Series
Designed to mask fittings during high temperature finishing processes such as powder coating, e-coating, plating, and more. These caps will not bake onto the fitting.
HVC Series
HVC series caps are extremely flexible and durable protective closures which are ideal for use as thread protectors, dust and moisture seals, and for masking during painting, plating or powder coating operations.
SFC Series
Series SFC Flange Caps feature a design which simplifies the application and removal of the cap. An internal lip on the open end provides a positive seal to prevent paint and other contaminants from seeping onto the part.
SRC Series
Silicone Rubber Caplugs are ideal for protecting and masking parts undergoing painting, plating, powder coating, anodizing, abrasive chemical processing, or exposure to high temperatures up to 600ºF (316ºC).
TS Series
The TS series offers all the versatility of our traditional tapers with the added resilience of silicone. Ideal for use in masking applications that require temperature and corrosion resistance. Available in two durometers: 70 Red and 45 Natural.
VFT Series
Our ergonomically designed VFT caps feature a long flat pull-tab for easy removal. To offer an even greater degree of control, we’ve dipped our standard vinyl part in a second vinyl material that offers a textured finish. This second coat of vinyl grips to hands or gloves 80% better than traditional pull tabs.
PSC Series
Manufactured from natural paper which is 100% recyclable, the answer for applications requiring environmentally friendly components. NOTE: Products are manufactured from paper which is hygroscopic. This means that there may be minor dimensional variation with changes in relative humidity. Material: 90 lb.
