GAMMA Seal | Rotary & Shaft Seals | Trelleborg

The GAMMA Seal is an axial rotary seal that excludes contamination, moisture and grease. It consists of an elastomer sealing lip contained in a metal carrier. This design copes with arduous static and dynamic conditions in mobile hydraulics and power transmission applications.

Mechanical Face Seals are a special form of mechanical seals. They are also known under other designations, such as lifetime seals, floating seals, duo cone seals, toric seals and heavy duty seals. There are two different types of Mechanical Face Seals: Type DO is the most common form that uses an O-Ring as a secondary sealing element. Radial Oil Seals | Rotary & Shaft Seals | Trelleborg

Radial Oil Seals consist of a single lip bonded to a metal support with a garter spring. There are many different variations of the Radial Oil Seal, both with and without an integral dust excluding lip. These dust lips can be positioned either within the seal width or beyond the seal base. A successful Radial Oil Seal runs with a thin film of fluid under the sealing lip. The film acts as a lubricant and allows a meniscus to form on the other side of the sealing lip. Radial Oil Seals can also include hydrodynamic aids, which create positive sealing by returning any oil leaking back into the system. For pressures above the recommended 0.05 MPa (7.3 psi) a metallic support heel can be used.

Shaft Repair Kit | Rotary & Shaft Seals | Trelleborg

Suitable for the repair of worn shafts or for original equipment manufacturing to avoid the need to harden the shaft. Shaft repair kits are thin-walled stainless steel sleeves which do not require any modification to the existing seal sizes. Tools for installation on the shaft are included in the kit.

The double-acting Turcon® Roto Glyd Ring® is used to seal rods, axles, rotary swivels and steering units with rotary, helical or oscillating movement. A single-acting sealing element comprised of a U-shaped Turcon® ring and metallic energizing finger spring. Turcon® Varilip® PDR | Aircraft Rotary Seals | Trelleborg

Turcon® Varilip® PDR (Performance, Durability, Reliability) rotary shaft seals are constructed from one or multiple Turcon® PTFE based sealing elements which are mechanically retained in a precision machined metal body. The metal body gives a robust static seal against the housing, preventing thermal cycling, while the Turcon® sealing element provides positive dynamic sealing on the shaft, leading to excellent performance at high rotary speeds. Characterized by low friction and stick-slip-free running, the seal reduces temperature generation, permits higher peripheral speeds and lowers power consumption. This results in a long-service life, with maximized mean time between planned maintenance and greater productivity.
