Applications

Reciprocating

Quad-Rings® form a positive, dependable seal at a wide range of pressures. With proper installation, they form a positive seal at a wide range of pressures from extreme vacuum up to 725 psi/5MPa without back-up rings and up to 4350 psi/30MPa with back-up rings.

Rotary

Quad-Rings® make excellent rotary seals because the low cross-sectional squeeze permits higher rotary speeds with less friction, giving longer life. The use of Quad-Rings® in these applications eliminates the need for more expensive spring-loaded seals.

Static

When Quad-Rings® are used as gaskets, they efficiently seal mating components. The four contoured lobes effectively prevent bypass in devices using frequent pressure cycles.
