Polyurethane: HPU 95A

Typical Applications:

  • Low friction and wear
  • High extrusion resistance
  • Suitable for common hydraulic fluids
  • Suitable for oil-water emulsions

Polyurethane: LT-PU 96A

Typical Applications:

  • Low friction and wear
  • High extrusion resistance
  • Suitable for common hydraulic fluids
  • Suitable for oil-water emulsions

  • Hardness: Shore A 96±2
  • Colour: Blue
  • Low Temperature

Polyurethane: SL-PU 96A

Typical Applications:

  • Low friction, self-lubricating
  • High extrusion resistance
  • Suitable for non-lubricated applications
  • Suitable for pure water applications
  • Suitable for pneumatic applications

  • Hardness: Shore A 96±2
  • Colour: Black
  • Self-Lubricating

Nitrile Butadiene Rubber: NBR

Typical Applications:

  • High abrasion resistance

Fluorocarbon Elastomer (VITON): FPM

Typical Applications:

  • High resistance to hydraulic fluids
  • Excellent high temperature resistance
  • Excellent chemical and ozone resistance
  • Excellent weathering resistance

  • Temperature: Min: -20°C (-4°F) Max: 220°C (428°F)
  • Hardness: Shore A 82±5
  • Colour: Brown
  • FDA Approved

Fluorocarbon Elastomer (VITON): FPM Black

Typical Applications:

  • High resistance to hydraulic fluids
  • Excellent high temperature resistance
  • Excellent chemical and ozone resistance
  • Excellent weathering resistance

Ethylene Propylene Rubber: EPDM

Typical Applications:

  • Suitable for hot water, steam and fire-resistant fluids (with synthetic oils)
  • Used in bases, acids and acholols
  • Suitable for cleaning and washing applications
  • NOT recommended for brake fluids or hydrocarbon base fluids

Characteristics:

  • Temperature: Min: -45°C (-49°F) Max: 130°C (266°F)
  • Hardness: Shore A 85±5
  • Colour: Black

Ethylene Propylene Rubber: EPDM White FDA

Typical Applications:

  • Suitable for hot water, steam and fire-resistant fluids (with synthetic oils)
  • Used in bases, acids and acholols
  • Suitable for cleaning and washing applications
  • NOT recommended for brake fluids or hydrocarbon base fluids

Silicone Rubber 

Typical Applications:

  • Used in hot air applications
  • Used in applications where chemical and food material are in contact with the sealing material
  • Suitable for food applications
  • NOT recommended for dynamic applications

  • Hardness: Shore A 85±5
  • Colour: Clear/White

Polytetrafluorethylene (Teflon®): PTFE 

Typical Applications:

  • Universal material for many applications
  • Excellent chemical properties
  • Low coefficient of friction
  • Wide temperature range

Characteristics:

  • Temperature: Min: -200°C (-328°F) Max: 235°C (455°F)
  • Hardness: Shore D 51-65
  • Colour: White

  • Piston and rod seals

Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE, Teflon®) Bronze filled 40 % 

Typical Applications:

  • High compression loads
  • Excellent extrusion resistance
  • Low coefficient of friction
  • NOT suitable for dynamic water applications

Characteristics:

  • Temperature: Min: -130°C (-200°F) Max: 302°C (575°F)
  • Hardness: Shore D 57-67
  • Bronze filled 40 %

Polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE, Teflon®) Carbon Graphite 

Typical Applications:

  • Reduces creep
  • Excellent wear resistance
  • Low coefficient of friction
  • Wide temperature range

Characteristics:

  • Temperature: Min: -160°C (-250°F) Max: 302°C (575°F)
  • Hardness: Shore D 51-65
  • Carbon Graphite

Note: Application temperatures are approximate as specific operating conditions will impact seal performance and service
life including temperature, pressure, chemically active fluids, contaminants, surrounding metal and other considerations.
