Protect Threaded Components from Damage, Contamination, and Moisture

Threaded plugs are designed to provide protection to fabricated threads, flared & flareless fittings, SAE O-Ring ports, NPT pipe fittings, and tube ends. Protecting against damage, contamination, moisture, and preventing corrosion from reaching the internal threads. The plugs can also reduce oil or fluid leakage in low-pressure testing applications. Threaded plugs are commonly used in industries such as: equipment manufacturing, automotive, masking and hose & hydraulics. To meet the demands of different operating environments, Daemar offers Threaded Plugs in a range of materials, styles, colours and sizes and stocks them in huge quantities for a fast turnaround. These are designed to work with a range of thread configurations, including straight, NPT, metric and BSP threads. These plugs can be easily installed on the components, thus providing protection to them effectively.

RPO-M Plugs

Our RPO-M Plugs provide a dual seal on ISO fluid power system metric ports. An integral O-ring-type bead seats snugly into the bevel of the threaded opening to prevent oil or fluid leakage. A 12-point head makes it possible to tighten with a socket or wrench.

RPO-M Plugs are extremely easy to use and are fully interchangeable with standard ISO Metric Ports. These plugs can be reused several times without loss of effectiveness, and this repeated use will not damage the plug or the port threads. Moreover, these plugs don’t require chemical sealants, so it eliminates the risk of fluid contamination during removal and reinstallation.
These plugs are used in industrial applications, including:

Pumps used in Amusement Ride Equipment, Air Conditioning, Aerospace, Brake Systems, compressors, and Agriculture equipment.

Release Valve used in Refrigerant Systems, Mining Equipment, Marine Engines, and Refrigerant Recycling Equipment.

Valve used in Elevators, Diesel Engines, Injection moulding Equipment, generator, and fuel dispensers.

PD Plugs

Series PD Plugs, designed for use on flared JIC fittings, are knurled for ease of application. They will seal low pressure requirements with light finger tightening. PD Plugs can be used to seal 37º flare fittings without gaskets.

They are very versatile and frequently used in fluid power industries to seal Hydraulic Fittings. And these plugs are available in both LDPE & HDPE and in a large range of sizes to fit any size of JIC fittings. These plugs can also be removed and reinstalled several times without affecting their performance. They are utilized in a range of applications, including:

Military fuel delivery applications, sealing the control valves and hydraulic valves.

Sealing unused hoses and pipes in plumbing environments.

Aerospace fluid systems and the manufacturing of commercial aircraft and space rockets by NASA.

TPN Plugs

TPN plugs are ideal for low-pressure testing and in-house handling. The square head design enables easy installation and fits NPT Threads. The plugs protect threaded ports from damage, contamination, and moisture. The material is resistant to oil and temperatures up to 250F, but not intended for permanent applications.  A flange design version of the plug protects the circumference of the port while simultaneously protecting the threads from damage, contaminants, and moisture.

These plugs are used for low-pressure applications in several industries, including power plants, oil & gas, chemical, manufacturing, and shipping, to create a seal in open-ended pipes and fittings transporting liquids, gases, steam, and hydraulic fluid.
