Outside Sales Representative – Midwestern States, USA

Position Summary

A leading distributor of Fluid Sealing Products and Precision Components is currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative for Business to Business Industrial Sales. If you are a high-energy self-starter, someone motivated to grow a territory with huge sales potential – then we want to talk to you!


  • Generate profitable revenue growth through establishing new customers, penetrating new and existing customer accounts and retaining those customers.
  • Establish, maintain and service accounts, covering assigned territory to ensure high customer satisfaction, positive long-term relationships and repeat business
  • Conduct sales presentations to customers
  • Routinely interact face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and maintain satisfaction
  • Work with Sales Manager to provide business planning to reach sales goals
  • Be personally accountable for time management and set priorities to reach sales goals
  • Understand and use basic selling techniques: open, probe, presentation, over-coming objections and closing
  • Identify opportunities, negotiate and manage sales
  • Effectively assess customer needs, present products and solutions, and close sales
  • Understand buying decisions, buying processes and cash flow dynamics of customers
  • Compensation will be driven by the ability to achieve or exceed established sales goals
  • Consistently maintain account and customer contact and record follow up details in CRM
  • Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customers’ concerns
  • Work with customers to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
  • Rapidly build knowledge of Daemar’s product lines in order to provide technical support as required
  • Identify opportunities, negotiate and manage sales

Required Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously with ability to respond quickly to customer requests
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Willingness and ability to prospect new business
  • Ability to self-start and work independently
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales plans

  • Strong work ethic and inner drive to continually add new accounts
  • Demonstrates the art of influencing, selling, and relationship building
  • Maintaining proficiency with Customer Relationship Management software
  • Proficiency with personal computers, Internet, and Microsoft Office products
  • You could be required to wear personal protective equipment (i.e. protective footwear, safety eyewear, etc.)
  • College degree preferred or equivalent education and experience
  • 3 to 5+ years experience in outside sales, preferably in Industrial Distribution
  • Reliable transportation and current driver’s license
